Notification for Stipendiary Cadet Trainee Police Constables in 15th Bn APSP in Police Department

Applications are invited from the eligible male candidates for direct recruitment to 100 posts of Stipendiary Cadet Trainee Police Constables (APSP) (Men) in 15th Bn., APSP in Police Departmen

Eligibility Conditions:

All the vacancies will be filled with male candidates belonging to the Aboriginal Tribes who are domiciled in the scheduled areas of Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, East Godavari, West Godavari, Mahaboobnagar, Adilabad, Warangal and Khammam districts through direct recruitment. The rule of Special representation (reservation) provided in Rule 22 of A.P. State & Subordinate Service Rules, 1996 is not applicable to these posts.

Age Limit:

a)      A candidate must have attained the age of 18 years and must not have attained the age of 27 years as on 1st January, 2011 i.e., he must have been born not earlier than 2nd January, 1984 and not later than 1st January, 1993.

b)      The upper age limit prescribed in para (a) above will be relaxable as under;

i)                    length of regular service limited upto a maximum of five years if a candidate is an employee of A.P. State Government (Employees of APSEB, APSRTC, Corporations, Municipalities, Local bodies etc. are not entitled for age relaxation)

ii)                  three years in addition to the length of service rendered in the Army, Naval or Air Force of the Union for the candidates who served in the Army, Naval or Air Force of the Union

iii)                three years in addition to the length of service rendered as a whole time Cadet Corps Instructor in NCC provided the candidate rendered a minimum service of 6 months  as a whole time Cadet Corps Instructor in NCC.

iv)                upto a maximum of three years if a candidate is a retrenched temporary employee in the State Census Department with a minimum service of 6 months during 1991

Minimum Educational Qualification: As on the date of notification i.e., 19-10-2011, the candidate must have passed 9th class from a School recognised by the State Government.

Note:    The candidates who possess higher qualification than the prescribed one will also be considered for selection.

Application form:

Candidates must apply in the Application Form devised by the Board for the examination, which can be download from website www.apstatepolice.org in the recruitment folder. They are requested to go through the notification thoroughly and it is available on the website. The application form and notification are not issued from any office. No fee is required to be paid while submitting application forms.

LAST DATE FOR RECEIPT OF APPLICATIONS: 

Eligible candidates should submit the duly filled in application form along with the copies of the necessary certificates from 08-11-2011 to 19-11-2011 on all working days in between 10.30 hours and 17.00 hours. The candidates should appear and submit the application in person and should not send their applications either by post or through their nominee.

Selection Procedure/Scheme: –   The Selection Procedure/Scheme of the Exam will be as follows:

A) Preliminary Selection Test:    Candidates will have to run three (3) kms within 25 minutes.

 B) Physical Efficiency Test (PET) : The candidates qualified in the above preliminary selection test and who possess the minimum physical standards will be required to undergo the following tests :

The Preliminary Selection Test and Physical Efficiency Test is likely to be started from 22-11-2011 onwards.

1. 100 Meters run

2. Long Jump

3. Shot-put (7.26 Kilograms)

4. High Jump

5. 800 Meters Run

The performance of the candidates in each event will be awarded maximum 20 marks as shown in Annexure I.  All the five (5) items put together will carry 100 marks.
