General Conditions:

Assistant Professor

Specialization: Optometry & Vision Science – (UR-2, OBC-1)

Qualifications: M.Sc/M.Phil in Optometry with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks and a consistently good academic record. A minimum of 3 years experience in teaching and clinical training is essential.

Terms & Conditions of appointment:

  1. Tenure: The appointments are purely temporary and will be for a period not exceeding Six months. The appointments are renewable based on the requirement of the School and based on re-interview after the completion of the tenure of appointment. The reservation of the posts will be as per Government of India rules as assigned by the University roster system.
  2. Emoluments: The scale of pay will be Rs. 15,600/- (basic) + all other allowances as applicable as per the VI pay commission pay scales of UGC. Additional increments will be considered for candidates having M.Phil/Ph.D as per rules. Medical degree holders will be considered for Non-practicing allowance (NPA) if applicable as per rules.
  3.
