Jawaharlal Nehru University BioInformatics National Certification Examination – BINC 2012

Jawaharlal Nehru University , on behalf of Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Government of India, will conduct the BioInformatics National Certification (BINC) examination. The objectiveof this examination is to identify bioinformatics professionals. This will help potential employers in recruitment of candidates having exceptionally good Bioinformatics skills.

Eligibility:
Graduates in any science, agriculture, veterinary, medicine, pharmacy, engineering and technology are eligible to appear for the examination. They need not have any formal training, diploma or certificate in bioinformatics

Application :
The online application can be filled from 14 November 2011 to 3rd. February 2012.

Send the hard copy of the duly filled signed application form along with demand draft, two passport size photographs and caste certificate (if applicable) to the following address:

Syllabus:

Syllabus approved by National advisory committee is available online. It consists of five sections: Bioinformatics , biology, physical & chemical sciences, Mathematics& statistics and IT .

Fee:

The examination fee is Rs. 600/- for candidates from Open category and Rs. 450/- for reserved category candidates (as per government of India rule).
