APPSC Recruitment 2012: Notification for Senior Stenographer
Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission inviting applications from eligible candidates for Senior Stenographers in A.P. Secretariat Sub Ordinate Service / A.P. Tribunal for Disciplinary proceedings / a.p. Ministerial Services
1) Senior Stenographer in A.P. Secretariat Sub Service – 28 Nos
Must hold a Bachelor’s Degree of a University in India established or incorporated by or under a Central Act, Provincial Act or an Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission or any other equivalent qualification; and
a) Pass in Typewriting and Shorthand Higher in English, and
b) Pass in Typewriting and Shorthand Lower Grade in Telugu.
2) Senior Stenographer in A.P. Tribunal for Disciplinary Proceedings – 01 Nos
Must hold B.A./ B.Sc./B.Com or equivalent qualification. Type Writing Higher Grade, Shorthand Higher (Both in English).
3) Senior Stenographer in A.P. Ministerial Service. – 45 Nos
Academic Qualifications: Intermediate.
Technical Qualifications: Pass in Shorthand and Typewriting by
Higher Grade in the concerned language conducted by State Board of Technical Education of A.P. Government or any other equivalent qualification as provided for in APMS Rules.
Age: Minimum 18 years & Maximum 34 years as on 01/07/2011.
Fee: (Remittance of Fee) Each applicant must pay Rs. 100/- (Rupees One Hundred Only) towards Application Processing Fee and Examination Fee RS.80/- (Rupees Eighty Only)
Selection Procedure:The selection of candidates for appointment to the posts will be made by written examination (objective type) for eligible candidates.
